Duties & Responsibilities:

The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the Accounting Department. This individual will lead a team of accounting personnel, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with regulations, and contribute to strategic financial decisions.  

  • Ensure the day-to-day operation of the accounting functions within the business.
  • Prepare accurate & timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance and trends.
  • Manage & mentor a team of accounting staff while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Continuously review & enhance accounting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Manage cash flow and optimize cash management strategies to support operational needs and maximize returns on investments.
  • Assist the CFO in conducting in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience of 5 years in accounting, with a track record of progressive responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Finance (MS F&O); advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
