Position Summary:

The Marketing Specialist role will assist with all marketing initiatives including events, campaigns, and service line campaigns at Newman Regional Health and Newman Regional Health Medical Partners. You will ensure consistency in brand representation and focus on efforts to grow market share in designated areas. The Marketing Specialist oversees patient reviews and mentions across digital experiences and social platforms. You will handle all aspects of provider reputation on social media, including reporting and issue escalation to Legal and Compliance teams, and respond to comments from patients.  The Marketing Specialist monitors community activity by proactively seeking community engagement opportunities while building a social media presence. You would plan, support, and coordinate Newman Regional Health's marketing strategies and be responsible for aspects of event planning.

Essential Functions:

• Conducts market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends.
• Brainstorms and develops ideas for creative marketing campaigns
• Assists in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas
• Collaborates with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
• Plans and execute initiatives to reach the target audience
• Assists in analyzing marketing data
• Participates in implementing major marketing, sales programs and initiatives
• Participates in budget process for business development activities
• Builds rapport with and manage relationships with external marketing partners and vendors
• Oversees aspects and planning of the hospital's largest annual fundraiser
• Prepares for marketing events by determining what promotional and informational items are needed.
  Skills & Abilities
• Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field such as Business or Journalism
• Two+ years' experience in public relations, communications, or related field required with supervisory experience preferred
