Job Description

Medical Assistant  (Full Time )
Location: Ashtabula County

Position Overview

Assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this might include both clinical and front desk duties.

Andover Primary Care: 5594 State Route 7, Andover OH, 44003

  • Monday8:30 am - 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday8:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Thursday8:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Friday8:00 am - 4:00 pm

NO WEEKENDS

Compensation

Position starts at $17.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and/or two years experience in a clinical setting
  • Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
  • Administering Medication
  • Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
  • Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction
  • Computer proficient
