Dental Assistant  (Full Time )
Location: Mifflin County

Position Overview

The Dental Assistant assist in the provision of primary and comprehensive dental care as a member of a team of health professionals. This individual performs as a chair side assistant with dental duties (priority) with approval by the supervisor(s). This individual also performs limited clerical duties.

 

Location and Hours of Position

PHN Lewistown Dental - 106 Derry Heights Blvd, Lewistown PA 17044

The general office hours for this position:

Monday 8:30-5

Tuesday-Wednesday 8:30-7

Thursday 8:30-5

Friday 8:30-12:30 

NO WEEKENDS

 

 Compensation 

Starting rate $18 per hour. PHN will recognize experience, education and location when determining pay.

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved dental program/school OR previous experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Minimum of three (3) months working in a dental office (preferred)
  • PA Certification in Radiology (or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records [EMR](preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency (required)
