Medical Assistant  (Full Time )
Location: Clarion County

Position Overview

Medical AssistantAssists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this might include both clinical and front desk duties.

Location and Hours of Position

PHN Clarion Community Health Center: 30 Pinnacle Dr., Suite 101, Clarion, PA 16214

The general office hours for this position are Monday -Thursday (8am-6pm),Friday (8am-12pm)The position is located in Clarion PA.

Compensation

Position starts at $17.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school as Medical Office Assistant and/or two years of experience in a clinical setting.

Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge

Administering Medication

Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred

Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction

Computer proficient
