Medical Assistant  (Full Time )
Location: Mercer County

Position Overview

This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.

 

Location and Hours of Position

Green St. Primary Care: 2000 Green St. Farrell, PA 16121

 

The general office hours for this position are Monday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00am - 6:00pm, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. The position is located in Farrell. Some days may be spent at our Buhl Farm Health Center located in Hermitage. 

NO WEEKENDS

 

Education/Experience Requirements

Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and/or two year's experience in a clinical setting.

 

Compensation

Position starts at $17.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and/or two years' experience in a clinical setting
  • Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
  • Administering Medication
  • Previous venipuncture and injection experience
  • Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction
  • Computer proficient
