Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - per diem  (Part Time (up to 29 hours per week))
Location: Northumberland County

Position Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse- Promotes and restores patients health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.

Medical Assistant- This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.

Office Location and Hours

PHN Shamokin Community Health Center 531 Franklin Street, Shamokin PA

Office hours (up to 29 hours per week) per diem:

Monday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

Tuesday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm

Wednesday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

Thursday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

Friday 8:00 am - 1:30 pm

NO WEEKENDS

Compensation

Minimum start is $17.00 per hour (Medical Assistant), $20 (Licensed Practical Nurse). PHN recognizes experience, education, and site location when determining wage.

Education/Experience Requirements

Graduate of an approved school ofnursingand two years experience in clinical setting (preferred)

OR

Graduate of an approved school Medical Assistantand/or two years experience in a clinical setting
