DRY DOCK - LOCATE COORDINATOR  (Regular Full Time)
Location: HDCC

Assists the Utilities Area Manager and team by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Able to maintain and update locates for the full project
  • Coordinate with multiple Operators to ensure locates are marked properly and on time
  • Organize and share with multiple disciplines up to date documents
  • Coordinate with survey team to compile latest drawings and latest as-builts in a centralized location
  • Manage cost and other locate subcontractors as needed
  • Liaison with Government agencies for specific utilities
  • Other tasks as assigned, by the Area Manager - Utilities

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in local market with locate contractors and Hawaii One Call is a must
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Locate equipment experience and ability to support on site teams would be an asset
  • Working with CAD and Bluebeam an asset
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office Skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

OTHER SKILLS

  • Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all levels of staff as well as external customers
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as needed

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to obtain a Navy DBIDS (Base Access Pass)
