Back to Category List Available Positions > Job Description DRY DOCK- MARINE SPECIES OBSERVER (Regular Full Time) Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific has awarded DHO JV a $2.8 billion task order under an $8 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award construction contract awarded in November 2021 to DHO JV to replace a dry dock at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility at Joint Base Pearl Harbor.
The Marine Species Observer will assist in monitoring for protected species, or animals federally protected under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and/or Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), to help meet their regulatory compliance. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
