Hours: 24 hours per week. This position will be split between Douglas Young Wellness Recovery Center (16 hours) and Areta Crowell Center (8 hours).

Pay Rate: $41.97 to $43.27 per hour

Licensure: Current and valid license to practice as a LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or Psychologist in California required and must keep license current during employment.

As a Medicare Specialist, you will:

• Conduct initial behavioral assessments of new clients and reassessment for current clients.
• Provide behavioral health services to clients and/or their families.
• Assist clients in developing client service plans goals and in prioritizing areas of need and steps needed to reach goal established.
• Depending upon needs of the business and clients, may be expected to provide telehealth services
• Documents all services provided and maintains documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Additional Qualifications and Skills

• Must meet all California requirements to bill for Medicare services
• Experience and knowledge of County Health and Human Services requirements, including documentation preferred
  
• Must be able to pass criminal/background clearance and credentialing review

Douglas Young Wellness and Recovery Center and Areta Crowell Center are adult outpatient programs which provides a variety of intervention services to individuals in crisis. We serve individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.

Services include initial psychosocial assessments, psychiatric and medication evaluations, ongoing medication support services, limited individual and group counseling, supported housing, care coordination, case management, and linking clients with additional community-based supports.
