Clinician - TAY Lead  (Regular Full-Time, Hourly)

Hours: 40 hours per week.  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Thursday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Pay Rate$32.00 to $33.65 per hour

Education: Masters degree in a mental health related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required

Licensure: Registered or license-eligible with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) is required

As a Clinician – TAY Lead, you will:

  • Provide psychosocial rehabilitation interventions and services to the transitioned aged youth population (18 to 24 years old).
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team who provide outreach, engagement, case management, crisis intervention and mental health services to clients in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, assessments, crisis interventions, and case management
  • Provide individual and group therapy to clients, both in person and via telehealth as clinically indicated
  • Provide mobile outreach to TAY clients in the community, if needed
  • Participate in the clinical delivery of the teams psychosocial rehabilitation services, including developing individual service plans and coordinating community resources to maximize optimal health outcomes

Additional Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong clinical skills and two years of previous experience working with adults with severe emotional disturbance and co-occurring disorders in an outpatient or walk-in model is strongly preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, and have a can-do attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Word and Excel
  • Able to pass criminal/background clearance

Douglas Young Wellness Recovery Center is one of our Adult Outpatient programs (AOP) that provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, peer support and older adult outreach. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders.

All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services.  Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness.
