Clinician - Assessment (On Call)

Hours: On Call with availability on Monday - Friday, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Pay Rate: $39.00 to $45.00 per hour
Education: Masters degree in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Licensure: License-eligible or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) required
As a Clinician I Assessment, you will:
- Provide screening, clinical assessments, and crisis intervention within the walk-in model
- Assist management team, including consultation and oversight
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team regarding discharge planning in progress
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with working with individuals who have a severe and persistent mental illness, as well as co-occurring disorders
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
- Able to pass criminal/background clearance

Jane Westin Centeris an adult outpatient walk-in clinic which provides a variety of intervention services to individuals in crisis. We serve individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. Services include initial psychosocial assessments, psychiatric and medication evaluations, crisis intervention and linking clients with ongoing community-based services.
