Program/Location: StepForward South (Chula Vista)

Mental Health Clinician for CalWORKs Program

Hours: 20 hours per week between Monday – Friday (8:30 am to 4:30 pm)

Pay Rate: $28.00 to 31.00 per hour

Step Forward South provides mental health services for CalWORKs/Welfare-to-Work participants and their families.  The program is located in Chula Vista and works on reducing mental health barriers to employment and education.  Small caseloads and reduced documentation requirements allow for a focus on client services.  Join a diverse, inclusive and supportive team that provides opportunity for growth while helping individuals change their lives for the better!

Job Duties

• Provide individual, family and group therapy
• Coordinate services with other support systems (i.e., schools, social service programs, etc.)
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology
• Registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
  
• Intermediate computer skills in MS Office
• Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
