Position: Associate Clinical Director CRF Child, Youth and Family (CYF) Services Programs

Programs:This position will provide oversight of all the CRF CYF Programs including Crossroads Family Center, Douglas Young Youth and Family Services, Mobile Adolescent Services Team (MAST), and Nueva Vista Family Services.

Hours: Operation hours are Monday through Friday. This is a salaried, exempt position.

Salary: $105,000 - $115,000 per year

Licensure: Licensed in California a Psychologist, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Clinical Counselor required

Experience: At least two years of experience in behavioral health program management and a minimum of five years of experience providing behavioral health services.

Typical Duties of the Associate Clinical Director -Child, Youth and Family (CYF) Services Programs

The Associate Clinical Director, in coordination with the Clinical Director and Service Line VP supports operational, administrative, and clinical oversight of the CRF CYF programs for the purposes of ensuring clinical, programmatic, and operational consistency and integrity. This may include, but is not limited to, service delivery, contract compliance, personnel management, program development, budgetary and fiscal responsibilities, quality assurance and improvement, facility maintenance, clinical oversight, and implementation and compliance with CRF policies and procedures.

Duties include:

  • Supports Clinical Director and Vice President with implementation, monitoring, and oversight of all clinical and administrative services according to contract, OPO Handbook and CRF policies.
  • Directs and monitors client care by overseeing intakes, assessments, discharge planning, and follow-up care.
  • Directs and monitors utilization of services. Monitors production and unit reports and works with management to meet contract goals.
  • Directs, monitors, arranges and/or provides initial and ongoing staff training and development.
  • Supports Clinical Director and Vice President in establishing and monitoring procedures for medical record review to ensure all documentation meets agency and government requirements.
  • Provides support to Clinical Director and Vice President in training service line direct care and administrative leadership.
  • Serves as a liaison to the County of San Diego Behavioral Health Services and other agencies related to contract compliance and clinical services.
  • Represents the programs during interactions with other agencies, law enforcement, landlords, other professionals, and the general public. Serves as a liaison with approved researchers as needed.
  • Provides on-site program leadership during management vacancies and as needed.

Additional Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of two years' experience of managementwithin a County-funded CYF program highly preferred
  • Experience with CYF service delivery and contract requirements.
  • Familiarity with County of San Diego BHS and Department of Health Care Services regulations
  • Experience with managing multiple budgets from various funding sources
  • Exemplary supervisory experience
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills
  • Reliable transportation is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position. A valid California driver's license in good standing and proof of insurance are required for employees driving personal vehicles for company business.
  • Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
