HR Manager - Benefits and Analytics (6023) (Full-time, Salaried) Program/Location: Central Office (Central San Diego)
Overview:
Located at our Central office in the Mission Bay area, our Human Resources Department provides comprehensive HR support and guidance to about 1,000 employees across 35 locations throughout San Diego County.CRF is a not-for-profit 401(c)(3) organization that serves the behavioral and mental health needs within our community.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys the analytical side of HR and benefits administration, is comfortable with HRIS systems and reporting functions, has a good foundation of experience with payroll structure, and has previous supervisory experience.CRF is a highly collaborative organization.
This is a salaried, benefited, full-time position. We have implemented a 4.5 day work week at our Central Office with 9:00 am - 1:00 pm hours on Fridays. In addition, pending successful completion of a 90-day Introductory Period, we allow the option to work from home up to two days/week.
Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000, depending upon qualifications and experience
Benefits & Analytics Manager Responsibilities
Manage all activities of CRF’s health and ancillary benefits plans to include day-to-day operations, as well as ongoing evaluation of our plans, developing and implementing improvements and changes, and ensuring compliance (including ACA) for all CRF health and ancillary benefits activities and programs.
Manage the HR function for CRF’s 403(b) program: ensure compliance, coordinate with the CRF Accounting Department on the administration of the plan, ensure that all HR regulatory functions and employee communications are timely completed, and provide expertise and guidance on the plan and administration.
Ensure Human Resource compliance for federal, state, and local governmental reporting requirements and other required audits for HR data as needed.
Manage data/records collection, management, and federal and state reporting (including EEO-1) using CRF’s HRIS; evaluate and implement necessary improvements.
Develop, evaluate, and implement HR data reporting, including turnover, HR Metrics, and other reports as needed.
Manage, maintain, develop, evaluate, and make necessary recommendations and changes to HR systems and processes, including to HR technology systems.
Qualifications/Skills Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is strongly preferred.
At least 5 years’ progressive benefits responsibility and experience; at least 2-3 years managing the benefits function, preferably in a company of at least 500 employees.Experience handling ACA and other regulatory compliance strongly preferred.
At least 3 years’ progressive responsibility and experience managing the retirement plan function, preferably for a company of at least 500 employees.
Experience supervising a team of 2-4 reports required.
Prefer 2-3 years’ experience in HRIS administration, including full reporting functions, technology system skills, and troubleshooting experience; SAGE HRIS and compatible software experience preferred but not required.
Excellent analytical, reporting, interpersonal, and communication skills.Must be comfortable in a highly collaborative work environment.
Prefer Payroll experience and/or experience coordinating the relevant HR functions with a separate payroll department.
At least 2 years’ experience successfully managing benefits vendor feeds.
Strongly prefer 2 or more years of experience with quality improvements to HR processes and technology systems.
PHR/SPHR, CA-SPHR/PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR-CA, or CEBS Certification is strongly preferred.
Reliable transportation is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position.
Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
