Facilities Project Manager (5751)  (Full-time, Salaried)
Program/Location: Central Office (Central San Diego)

Facilities Project Manager- Property Management - Central Office

Hours: This is a salaried position. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Salary: $62,400 per year

Overview:

Our Central Office is located in the Mission Bay/Linda Vista area and provides Management Support Services for all of the mental health programs of Community Research Foundation and PERT, Inc. The office consists of six departments: Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Information Technology, Real Estate and Facilities, and Quality Improvement.

 

Typical Duties of the Facilities Project Manager - Property Management Division:

  • This position will take a leadership role in the timely management of all aspects of assigned projects through to completion, in close coordination with the Manager of our Property Management Division and other stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Work assignments include facility-related repairs and maintenance and, when necessary
  • Coordination with insurance adjusters on claim related damages.
  • Ability to use his/her own best judgment to manage and oversee assigned projects is essential.
  • Reliable transportation is required to supervise projects at over 34 CRF program locations county-wide, along with flexibility to accommodate occasional work assignments before/after normal business hours, week-ends and holidays.

 

Qualifications / Skills Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Experience managing construction projects and conducting site inspections
  • Hands-on experience working with Trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Water Remediation, Landscaping, etc.)
  • Experience with the competitive bid process
  • Strong financial skills and demonstrated ability to prepare and manage project budgets, budget accruals and the meeting of audit requirements
  • Strong computer skills to include Access, Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio, and Internet.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative teamwork environment
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required
  • Reliable transportation is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position. A valid California driver's license in good standing and proof of insurance are required for employees driving personal vehicles on company business.
  • Able to pass criminal/background clearance
