Procurement Coordinator (5520)  (Regular Full-Time, Hourly)
Program/Location: Central Office (Mission Bay Park)

Procurement Coordinator – Central Office Operations

Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday. 

Pay Rate: $21.50 to $25.00 per hour

Program Overview:

Our Central Office is located in the Mission Bay/Linda Vista area and provides Management Support Services for all of the mental health programs of Community Research Foundation (CRF) and PERT, Inc. The office consists of six departments: Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Information Technology, Real Estate and Facilities, and Quality Improvement.

Typical Duties of the Procurement Coordinator

This position has primary responsibility for the administration of assigned vendor relationships and coordination of corporate asset management systems.

  • Initiates bid/quote process from assigned vendors for services, supplies and equipment and consults with requestor to develop specifications.
  • Works with vendors to ensure terms and conditions, agreements, licenses and insurance are in order, reviewed and approved using the CRM (Contact Relationship Management) database.
  • Builds and maintains complete and accurate contract files, agreements, quotes, account details/contact information and tracking sheets.
  • Manages and coordinates asset management (inventory) details for contract compliance, insurance compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Processes and analyzes excel sheets for import into databases and completes requests to remove items from WASP database.
  • Provides training to CRF program staff for audits, expectations and WASP database usage.
  • Assists with inventory coordination and distributions details for contract compliance during Program initiation, moves and closures.

Qualifications/Skills Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with 5 years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of work experience in supply chain or procurement vendor management and /or inventory management preferred
  • Project management experience is desirable
  • Experience working in a non-profit organization preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office
  • Solid understanding of databases or other tracking type software
  • Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
