Director of Supply Chain  (Full Time)
Location: Corporate - Remote

ExpressPoint has a full-time opportunity for a Director of Supply Chain. This role will support the company objectives and financial goals for ExpressPoint by overseeing the end-to-end supply chain, managing strategic sourcing partnerships, and driving improvements to enhance the organization’s performance. Drives optimization of supply chain capabilities in planning, procurement, and inventory management, while ensuring alignment between customer delivery requirements with financial objectives. Develops a culture of accountability around maintaining key supply chain inputs and parameters. Actively participates in the formulation of ExpressPoint’s future direction endorsing tactical initiatives to achieve each strategic objective.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the operations of the supply chain including demand planning, procurement, and master scheduling in support of SCOR model.
  • Accountable for key performance metrics, integration of processes among operations, program management, sourcing, logistics, and outside suppliers executing the planning and replenishment process.
  • Develop and implement measures to assess and manage risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Maintains strong relationships with key suppliers, evaluating their performance and ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
  • Continually improves the organization’s overall procurement and transportation strategies to reduce cost across all key spending categories.
  • Designs and implements rough cut capacity planning. 
  • Current with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting supply chain strategies.
  • Unites with key stakeholders to seek opportunities to enhance the internal/external customer experience.
  • Ensure timely, tactful, and respectful communication with all internal and external customers. 
  • Enforces all policies and procedures. 
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree preferable in business, materials management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of supply chain experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position.
  • Certifications: CPM, APICS, SCOR-P, LEAN and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Previous experience utilizing SCOR Model methodology and performance metrics preferred.
  • People Management: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to hold oneself and others accountable.  Provide feedback for staff development.
  • Expertise in supply chain best practices and ERP systems. Critical thinker who constructively challenges conventional constraints and delivers results.
