Program Receptionist - (F/T) Yakima  (Full Time)
Select Location: Yakima

Position Overview:  

The Program Receptionist position will be responsible for the operation of the OIC of WA main office receptionist station. This includes receiving and distributing all incoming mail and providing postage to all outgoing mail for the agency. Answering incoming calls and forwarding those calls to the appropriate departments or providing information. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to show compassion and patience with our customer service base and our staff. This position is also responsible for assisting the Administration team with various tasks and projects.  

 

Essential Duties:  

  • Must process all incoming and outgoing mail for the entire agency. 

  • Will answer all incoming calls to the agency on a multiline phone, forwarding calls to the appropriate department. 

  • Answering all emails and phone calls from rental applicants. 

  • Assist various programs with scheduling and processing incoming paperwork. 

  • Coordinate Facility Rentals/Calendars/Communication. 

  • Assist in coordinating Logistic Training, process applications, call trainees, and handle paperwork and payments. 

  • Assisting directors and Administration team with various projects. 

  • Coordinate various trainings for staff. 

  • Assist the Marketing and Development department. 

  • Train newhire receptionists in daily duties and general organization knowledge. 

  • Assist the Accounting department with postage and online access to add, delete departments, and change codes. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

 
 
 
 
 
 

HS Diploma or Equivalent (AA Degree preferred)   

 
 
 
 
 

1 year in customer service  

 
 
 
 
 

1 year experience in office management or as a receptionist  

 
 
 
 
 

OR Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of education
