Navigator - Pasco (F/T)  (Full Time)
Select Location: Pasco

Position Overview:

The Navigator will create a trusting relationship with all who enter our offices and assist with addressing barriers clients may be experiencing.  This position will serve as a liaison between the public and OIC of WA??s programs and services. The Navigator will be responsible for the initial assessment of the client??s household needs.   This role will involve the use of a helpdesk computer system.  This position will also be responsible for processing inbound calls and greeting ??walk-in? clients.  The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to show compassion to our clients, staff, and partners. 

Essential Duties:

1. Ensure clients are informed of agency program services and the enrollment process. 

2. Completes initial client intake interview using the agency-wide database system.

3. Develops an assessment of client needs based on the intake interview using advanced practice skills and expertise.

4. Communicates and coordinates the client??s needs and application for services to the appropriate program staff; completes follow up communication to ensure an efficient transition for the client.

5. Provide detailed Resource Room and client updates and communication on a timely basis and in a usable form.

6. Cultivate relationships with clients and partners. Establishes a continuing relationship with community agencies as additional resource opportunities for clients.

7. Maintains knowledge of state and federal program regulations and attends training to enhance the effectiveness of the role.

8. Answers phones, maintains the general upkeep of the Resource Room area throughout the day.

9. Greets the public and assists with scheduling appointments.

10.  Assist with processing incoming and outgoing mail.

11.  Other duties as assigned.

HS Diploma or Equivalent (AA Degree preferred)  

1 year in customer service

1 year experience in office management or as a receptionist

OR Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of education.
