Outreach Specialist - Moses Lake  (Full Time)
Select Location: Moses Lake

Shift Type: Tuesday - Frida, 7am-6pm

Position Overview: 

The  Program Outreach Specialist 1 will provide outreach to potential participants that seek OIC services as well as a community partner services. This position is responsible for the transfer of confidential client information into a program database. In this position, you must have the ability to type quickly and with accuracy. This position will require all client information to be updated which is easily accessible through a digital database. This position will provide customer service and will perform other administrative duties such as greeting clients, answering phones and scheduling appointments. planning and participating in client outreach and events. This position will engage in community outreach and help individuals with referrals to other local agencies. You may be required to public speak and educate of our services. Customer service is a must and the ability to work independently and with a team is a requirement of this position.

Essential Functions:

1.    Accurately enters client data on to spreadsheets ensuring little to no mistakes have been made. Verifies accuracy of data by comparing it to the program application documents.

2.    Gathers client documentation and reviews it for completeness and accuracy.

3.    Have working knowledge of program policies and procedures. Ability to utilize and apply knowledge of all program policy and procedures.

4.    Performs routine backups to ensure program data is preserved.

5.    Operates telephone system and routes calls to appropriate staff.

6.    Greet clients, visitors, staff, and outside entities.

7.    Operates general office equipment, notifying the Program Director whenever maintenance is needed.

8.    Collect, sort, distribute and prepare mail and messages daily.

9.    Assist with the resolution of complaints, inquiries, and client needs.

10.Keep abreast of OIC of WA organization policies and procedures and keep the Program Director apprised of any concerns regarding upset clients.

11.Other duties as assigned.


Wage: $18.84 per hour
