Back to Category List Available Positions > Job Description Building Manager (Evenings and Weekends) (Full Time) Position Overview: The Building Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service to individuals, families, and community entities for operations of activities and variety events held at OIC facilities. This position monitoring and assisting with the safety and security of each building and our tenants in the evenings and on the weekends. Most OIC of WA buildings are staffed 5-days a week 8-10 hours per a day. The Building Manager position is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Director in tenant management, enforcing building rules, performing janitorial tasks, and building maintenance. The Building Manager is responsible for responding to, reporting tenant, and building emergencies after hours. The Building Manager maintains service-delivery based on the values inherent in OIC of WA mission, values, and vision statements. The position is assigned to duties based on business/service needs. OIC of WA holds many public and personal events which are held outside of the normal business hours of 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Must have personal skills to communicate effectively with tenants and the public and maintain professional boundaries with tenants. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Experienced with Microsoft Office applications Word and Outlook. Must be able to work efficiently and effectively with customized databases and technology and conduct Internet research. Experience in rule enforcement, including lease and building rules. Light Janitorial, maintenance or security experience preferred.
