Physical Therapy Aide  (Full Time)
Location: Wichita, KS: West Office (Main Office)

Excellent opportunity to assist with patient care in our therapy department - a great job for anyone with an exercise or fitness background or an interest in the therapy field.  We can also train you!

 

Position Hours: M - F, 8:30am - 5:30pm

 

 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transport and prepare patients for treatment.
  • Assists with treatment as directed by the Therapists such as getting weights, setting up equipment or modalities for use, supervising patients exercises and printing exercises, and communicating with team members regarding patients response to treatment.
  • Keeps treatment areas clean, organized, stocked, and unobstructed.
  • Provides assistance to receptionist and with clerical duties as needed.
  • Contributes to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the organization.
  • Personally adhere to the standards, rules, and procedures of the KOC Compliance and HIPAA Programs and contribute to ensuring the organizational commitment to compliance and HIPAA regulations.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous customer service, patient care or medical reception experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology a plus
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and communicate (orally and written) effectively.
  • Positive personality & great interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Windows based applications
