AET's Mankato office has an opening for an entry-level engineer to provide construction materials testing and project recommendations to clients. Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, Construction Engineering, or related major along with coursework or internship experience performing field and laboratory testing such as Proctors, densities, gradations, soil classification, slump tests, etc.Â Â

IN THIS JOB, YOU WILL:
Maintain client, project team, and in-house communication to ensure successful project delivery
Perform field work such as material sampling and testing, soil testing and excavation observations, vibration monitoring, and reinforcing steel inspections
Perform lab work such as soil classifications, Proctors, and concrete cylinder strength tests
Document test results and prepare reports
Follow all AET and job site safety procedures Â
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelorâ€™s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Geology
0-3 years of related experience.
Engineer in Training (EIT) (or Geologist in Training â€“ GIT) and ability to achieve professional registration (PE) as you advance in your career
ACI and DOT certifications preferred
Internship or previous work experience strongly preferred
