RN - Per Diem - KCC Resident Care  (PRN (Per Diem))
Location: Kennett Square, PA

Kendal~Crosslands Communities, a continuing care retirement community located in Kennett Square, PA has Per Diem opportunities for RNs. Those interested must be Monday- Friday 8am - 4:30pm and Saturday 8am - 12pm. 

Essential Function:  Promotes and restores resident’s physical and psycho social health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians, residents, and multi-disciplinary team members; providing physical and psycho social support to residents, their family and supervising assigned team members. 

Qualification & Experience:  Graduation from an approved school of Registered Professional Nursing and current licensure by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Registered Professional Nurse.  Two years of nursing experience necessary.  Demonstrates competency in the administration of medications and treatments, including both knowledge and skills in these areas.  Demonstrates ability to recognize, promote and respect the individuality and abilities of each resident and to maintain the standards of the Kendal~Crosslands Communities philosophy of care.  Demonstrates ability to work a team member within the Health Services Department, with other personnel, as well as with residents, with families and friends.  Demonstrates leadership and organizational skills.
