Server (Part-Time)  (Part Time)
Location: Mitchellville, MD


Collington, A Kendal Affiliate ( is a premier full-service not-for-profit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) located in Mitchellville Maryland.  Collington offers superior care and service to its residents in 330 independent living homes and apartments, 65 assisted living apartments, and a 44-skilled nursing bed health center.   Located on a beautiful 125-acre campus, Collington is known for its peaceful campus featuring native trees, rolling lawns, a six-acre lake, walking trails and exquisite gardens.


Position Summary:


The Server is responsible for performing proper steps of service such as greeting tables, taking orders, providing courteous service, pre-coursing, etc.  in all culinary services dining venues under the supervision of the dining room manager. 




Education and Experience


Minimum of one (1) year of “Front of the House” operations experience as a server is preferred but not required.

  • Must be able to stand and walk 90% of the workday

  • Ability to stoop, bend and stretch frequently in small tight areas.

  • Must be able to lift, carry and hold up to 20 pounds
