Town Engineer, Public Works  (Full Time)
Location: Groton

TOWN ENGINEER (SUPERVISOR OF TECHNICAL SERVICES) - PUBLIC WORKS

Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week

STARTING SALARY:

$99,812

POSITION RANGE:

$99,812 - $110,202

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The Supervisor of Technical Services is a professional engineering position that is responsible for the administration and management of the Technical Services division of Public Works. The skills and knowledge required would generally be acquired with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of experience of a progressively responsible nature in the practice of civil engineering, including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity, preferably on a municipal level or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform in this classification.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

Registration as Professional Engineer (Civil) in Connecticut, or if licensed in another state, must obtain Connecticut license within six (6) months of appointment. Must possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
