In this important position, you will assist the finance department. HR Assistant/Credentialing Specialist   (Full Time)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinate, administer and maintain credentialing process for all eligible staff.  Work with HR team to assist with HR duties as needed, including participation with the agency training committee for processing of CEUs and special trainings.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have at least 3 years of credentialing and office experience in a health care setting.

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment while remaining organized and handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Complete all credentialing and re-credentialing duties and applications for agency.

Assume full responsibility for maintaining, tracking and following up on any and all forms of licensure, certification, and credentialing documentation as required.

Meet with all new hires with credentials or in the process of credentialing in order to get paperwork and licensure filed/requested with all insurance and funding sources.

Work with finance to ensure all specified monetary increases/bonuses for employees with new credential qualifications are processed in a timely manner.

Adhere to the credentialing requirements of all insurance/funding sources for which they qualify and provide Human Resources with the initial required documentation (licenses, liability insurance policies, DEA numbers etc.) and all renewals of these documents thereafter.

Act as liaison between staff and insurance companies with regards to all credentialing correspondence.

Work with billing team to ensure proper reimbursements are in place.

Maintain up to date copies of staff licenses, certifications, DEA’s, malpractice insurance and other provider information for credentialing and licensing.

Attend Billing Team meetings to discuss any credentialing changes, updates or issues.

Provide useful reports for management to be able to track where their staff are in the credentialing process

 

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

Weekly dedicated time for filing of confidential employee documentation into personnel files.

Assist HR team with tasks and projects possibly including Open Enrollment, career fairs, etc.

Participate on Training Committee and work to support CEU processing.

Psychiatric Nursing Asst/CNA/Students - Nights  (Full Time)

If you are interested in gaining experience working in the mental health and substance abuse field we have the perfect position for you! Our Acute Stabilization Unit in Providence is looking for a candidate to work as a psychiatric nursing assistant/CNA.  This is a 3 day work week, 36 hour position. The unit works from a trauma informed care practice model. Our program has qualified staff that are trained to realize the widespread impact of trauma, recognize signs/symptoms, respond with knowledge, and seek to resist re-traumatization. You would be responsible for ensuring patient safety, demonstrating professional behavior, and keeping established rules/protocols while maintaining patient dignity. As the Behavioral Health Worker/ CNA you will also be responsible for assisting in treatment groups and activities on the unit.

You would be exchanging pertinent client information to team members and working under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Program Manager. Must have excellent written and communication skills and the ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment. Being safety focused, detail oriented, and the ability to respond to emergencies or crises is an important aspect of this position.

The 988 Crisis Call Center also coordinates with local mobile crisis response teams, dispatching available mobile crisis clinicians to the community in order to meet people where they are. The services provided emphasize client-centered care in the least restrictive possible settings.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Working on site at the 988 Call Center in East Providence.

- Answering calls, chats, and texts alongside Crisis Counselors (through the 988 Lifeline and the 414-LINK line). This will include:

- Taking direction from BH Link Co-Directors and the VP of CCA’s Acute Services division.

A Peer Specialist for our Assertive Community Treatment Team(ACT) is needed to provide a bridge between providers and adults with serious mental illness. Peer Specialist will assist in facilitating the care and well-being of those adults while working in a multidisciplinary team.  The right candidate will have lived experience with behavioral health issues, the ability to work and communicate effectively, and an outgoing and engaging personality to connect with individuals. Your role will be to share your lived experience of mental illness and/or addiction and serve as a role model for peers; educate peers about self-help techniques and effective coping strategies, sometimes based on personal experience; help peers clarify goals for rehabilitation and recovery; and help peers develop natural support systems.

ACT Case Manager  (Full Time)
Location: Woonsocket, RI

Our Assertive Community Treatment Team is looking for a Case Manager who has experience working in the substance abuse and mental health field. You will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team to help people avoid crisis situations and to keep crises from turning into unnecessary hospitalizations. ACT is designed to help those individuals who are struggling with serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders that may need more than the traditional outpatient mental health care and psychiatric rehabilitation more intensive services. As the Case Manager will provide comprehensive community support to those individuals living in their homes. Your role will be to help stabilize individuals by assessing and evaluating all clients on an ongoing basis, provide support services and/or crisis intervention as needed, develop, design and implement treatment goals/plan with the client to promote the individual's recovery. In addition, collaborate with community resources while promoting recovery, improving their mental health and rehabilitation. This is a full time position with benefits.

Education/Licensing Requirements: BA/BSW in a human services related field required. Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health is a plus. Being safety focused, detail oriented, and the ability to respond to emergencies or crises is an important aspect of this position.

The MCAST model is centered on community outreach and assessment facilitated by a mobile team which includes a Masters Level Clinician and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

 

Education and Licensing Requirements:

BH Link - Peer Specialist- Crisis Services (East Providence)  (Full Time)

They also will provide phone support, and accompany clients to post crisis center appointments when appropriate.  Good communication skills a must.  The Behavioral Health Link will provide Rhode Islander's with immediate assessment and referral services. The program is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team which consists of RN's, Psychiatry, master's level counselors, case managers, peer specialists and phone screeners. The program also operates a 24/7 suicide hotline as well. The mobile crisis unit is a program transit van which is available to crisis center staff to provide community home visits when needed. 

 

We prefer an applicant who has successfully completed and passed a Co-occurring Peer Specialist training program endorsed by BHDDH and possess (or be eligible for) IC/RC state certification (CPRS). We also will accept those who are actively working on their certification.

The BH Link is a 24/7 triage facility providing assessment and referral services for adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use crises. The role of the Care Coordination Specialist will be to constantly coordinate with the BH Link team to determine and address program needs, transitioning seamlessly between multiple roles.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Working on site and throughout the various areas and roles of the BH Link program.

- Attending all required staff meetings and trainings.

Our Family Preservation Unit is seeking a Family Support Partner (FSP) whose responsibility will be to act as a peer mentor and support families who have children who are at risk for developmental, behavioral, and social problems, as well as families who are at risk for abuse and neglect.  The program will provide intensive services and family support (known as wraparound).  The ideal candidate will have had experience successfully raising a child with serious emotional disturbance (SED) or a developmental disability (DD) and/or who has been involved with child welfare services or juvenile corrections.  The Family Support Partner will utilize their personal experience of having a child in the system to relate to parents, caregivers and guardians to build a relationship between them and the team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  The purpose of this position is to provide telephone and, on occasion, face to face referral response for the First Connections program and clerical duties for other early childhood Family Visiting programs (i.e., Early Intervention, Healthy Families America) The referral process consists of gathering all necessary information via web, fax, phone and mail delivery to determine program interest and eligibility, as well as scheduling the first appointment for direct services. The Referral Specialist enters referral information and disposition in the FC Referral log and web-based RIDOH portals. Relief Residential Treatment Workers  (Per Diem)

We are seeking empathetic, caring, and energetic RN’s /LPN to deliver the best care possible to adults in various stages of recovery from addiction and mental illness. RN will assess and monitor for signs and symptoms of addiction and or MH changes as well as the medical needs of clients. Provide telephone crisis intervention to client experiencing behavioral health issues, and conduct assessments. Responsible for assisting clients to access medications needed for continued improvement in recovery status. Nurse will also educate clients on the effects of medication. Collaborate with ASU team, Emergency services and other health care providers and families to provide comprehensive services. The Visitation Center serves families whose children are in the care of the Department of Children, Youth and Families due to substance use or mental health concerns. Families are able to have supervised visits in a home-like setting while receiving support in their recovery. The Transportation Specialist provides transportation to and from supervised visits with biological families for children in out-of-home placements. Will communicate with foster parents and overall facilitation of scheduling visits with all parties involved. This position is also responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers at all times, including documentation for state, program, and agency standards and the implementation of individualized transportation plans. Must have excellent personal, organizational and communication skills. Also be willing to work with a dynamic, fun team while helping to make a huge difference in families' lives!  

Education Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and experience with children/youth or social service setting. Bi-lingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Treatment Assistant / Per Diem- BHLink  (Per Diem)

The BH Link is searching for enthusiastic professionals who are looking to make a positive impact in the Rhode Island community! The BH Link is a 24/7 triage facility providing assessment and referral services for adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use crises. The role of the Treatment Assistant will be to provide a warm welcome for clients visiting the program and to provide support to the clinical team throughout the client’s time there.

 

Other Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist clients in filling out paperwork, as needed,

- Provide information about the BH Link for clients, friends, and family.

- Help to ensure the comfort and safety of clients throughout their visit to BH Link.

- Monitor facility cameras and help to ensure environmental safety on and around the grounds of the program.

- Guide clients through safety checks during their entry into the BH Link facility.

- Assist in facilitating transportation to and from the BH Link facility, as needed.

- Assure that treatment bays are presentable and safe prior to the transition of a client from the waiting room to the treatment bay.

- Maintain documentation and logs, as appropriate.

- Provide additional clinical and administrative support as needed.

Our Acute Stabilization Unit in Providence is looking for a candidate to work as Treatment Assistant/CNA. The Acute Stabilization Unit at Providence works from a trauma informed care practice model. This model works to realize the widespread impact of trauma, recognize signs/symptoms of trauma, respond to trauma with knowledge, and seeks to resist re-traumatization. You would be responsible for ensuring patient safety, demonstrating professional behavior, and keeping established rules/protocols while maintaining patient dignity. Treatment Assistant/ CNA will also be responsible for assisting in treatment groups and activities on the unit.

You would be exchanging pertinent client information to team members and working under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and the Program Manager. Candidate must have excellent written and communication skills, ability to handle crises, and ability to multi-task while working in a fast paced environment. Being safety focused, having attention to detail, and being able to respond to emergencies or crisis is an important aspect of this position.

Education/Licensing Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required.  Associate's degree
