CFPB Reporting Analyst  (Full Time)
Virtual: London, KY, Monticello, KY, McAllen, TX
Onsite: London, KY, Monticello, KY, McAllen, TX

Summary: The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering data from multiple systems, analyzing information and converting it into meaningful reports and statistical information.  The analyst will hold all teams accountable to meeting the program requirements, along with identifying key projects to improve the overall KPIs.

Essential Duties



Retrieve, analyze, disseminate, interpret and communicate information on a timely basis, along with plans for how to better the customer experience.


Review and report to program leadership trends and issues identified with the data analytics


Design, implement, and maintain client and corporate daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports.


Interface with the client on a regular basis regarding new or modified KPIs and how best to calculate, analyze, improve, and control


Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding for clients and management. 


Maintain and develop long-term reporting solutions


Develop and implement records management program for compliance of metrics and actuals to forecast and results from process improvements


Work with clients, management and employees to continually improve systems or processes.


Have a continuous improvement focused mindset, constantly looking for trends in the data and analysis to better improve the overall customer experience


Skills: Position requires proficient knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Access.  The position will require Advanced Excel skills.  Additional skills desired include knowledge of Reporting Tools such as Crystal Reports or Tableau and a working knowledge of large database management tools such as SQL and Oracle.


Competencies: This position requires effective and professional, communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management and clients.  The employee must be able to manage multiple efforts concurrently. The candidate must have the aptitude to perform several duties at once and understand and navigate multiple CRM applications in order to pull data necessary for internal and external reporting needs. 


·         Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or other related field

·         5+ years of technical experience in data analysis

·         Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

·         Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations

·         Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction

·         Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership

Licenses/Certifications:  Preferred - Advanced degrees or certifications in SQL, SAS, Tableau, Qlik, data mining / forecasting are a plus
