AAAS' policy requires the electronic submission of a Web-based application for employment form, using our AAAS Employment Application Web site. Applicants who are unable to submit an electronic application should refer to the "Online Application System Accessibility Statement" below.
Applications received for jobs not currently available or for unspecified jobs will neither be processed nor retained on file. AAAS will only consider you for one vacancy at a time, so please apply only for the position that you feel best fits your education, experience, and skills.

To apply for a vacant position, click the "apply now" button on the bottom of the job vacancy announcement. You will be automatically directed to the AAAS Employment Application Web site. All Web application forms must include a resume and cover letter attachment in Microsoft Word format with a .doc extension. Applications received without these attachments will not be considered.
Applications for graphic design and illustration positions should include a URL link for portfolio viewing. If this is not available, design samples may be sent via e-mail to email@example.com. Applications containing writing samples may also provide a URL if available, or you may e-mail the writing samples to firstname.lastname@example.org. Emails with design or writing samples must include a reference to the job vacancy announcement in both the subject header and body of the email message. Writing and design/illustration samples must be sent in PDF or Microsoft Word format with a .doc extension.
