Essential Job Functions:
- Accuracy and timely submissions of required or requested internal or external reports, including adherence to federal, state and agency rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Accurate and timely processing of bank reconciliations and review of daily deposits by retail stores.
- Accurate and timely tracking of all grant related activity and preparing invoices for grant expenses.
- Accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly Workers' Compensation insurance submissions and journal entries.
- Neatness, accuracy, and completeness of records and files.
- Ability to meet deadlines and respond to special requests and/or the expressed desires of management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business or Finance or related field. Associate Degree with four years' related experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of two years' experience in the accounting required. Experience specifically related to monthly bank reconciliations and/or processing and tracking grant payments highly preferred.
- Must be extremely accurate and detail oriented. Must be proficient in the use of the computer and calculator.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as with others. Must be dependable and able to maintain the confidentiality of information. Must be neat, personable and be able to communicate effectively with small to medium sized groups.
